Sorella Italian Gelato

We make our gelato in-house like everything else.
We start with whole milk and sugar, vanilla bean, and egg yolks.
From that base we make several different flavors like chocolate cardamom, salted caramel rum, lemon, olive oil, orange olive oil, and vanilla.

An example of our Basil, is we blanch the basil, then we puree into the ice cream base and then we churn it.

Chocolate is Valrhona bittersweet chocolate melted down and tempered into the base. We heat up some of the base and we add the chocolate so the chocolate doesn’t become firm and make chocolate chips.
