Sorella’s Regional Dinner Series

Three Sundays. Three Regions. One Very Good Reason to Make Plans.

At Sorella, we’ve always believed that Italian food isn’t one thing – it’s a collection of places, seasons, and traditions. This April, we’re leaning into that idea with a three-part Italian Regional Dinner Series, each inspired by a distinct corner of Italy.

April Sunday Dinners

Let’s go to Italy

Each Sunday features a two-course dinner for $26.

Highlighting classic dishes done the Sorella way, simple, intentional, and rooted in tradition.

This is not a rushed dinner. It’s not a performance.
It’s simply a great Italian meal, shared.

We’ll have a table ready 🤌

Map of Italy highlighting Piedmont, Lombardy, and Trnentino - Alto Adige Regions

April 12 – Piedmont

Northern Italy, where bold wines and slow cooking take their time.

Menu
• Brasato al Barolo
Barolo-braised beef chuck roll, soft polenta.
• Bonet
Almond–hazelnut custard with caramel.

Optional Beverage Pairings/Recommendations
A Negroni to start – Bitter, balanced, and exactly what Piedmont would order before sitting down.
Wine – Podere Ruggeri Corsini Barbera.

April 19 – Lombardy

Refined, rich, and quietly luxurious.

Menu
• Risotto Milanese
Saffron risotto with Parmesan.
• Zabaione ai Mirtilli
Marsala custard, blueberries, powdered sugar.

Optional Beverage Pairings/Recommendations
A French 75 (Italian-leaning) or light spritz to start – Bright enough to open the palate without overpowering the risotto.
Wine – Ca del Baio Chardonnay.

April 26 – Trentino-Alto Adige

Alpine comfort with a touch of elegance.

Menu
• Canederli con Brodo
Bread dumplings with speck, spinach, and cheese in double chicken broth.

Warm apple strudel with vanilla gelato.

Optional Beverage Pairings/Recommendations
An Aperol Spritz or Hugo Spritz to start – Crisp, herbal, and right at home in the mountains.
Wine – di Lenardo Chardonnay.

Sorella Italian Gelato

House-made gelatos are always on the menu – some, finished with a snowfall of chocolate crumble, because restraint is overrated.
