Fantastic Italian place with great nightly dinner specials to choose from. The classic drinks and Kraft cocktails that are created are also something to remember. Spaghetti and meatballs is great paired with a red wine and tiramisu for dessert. If you love yourself, you won't forget the dessert.

This place was great. Id have given them 5 stars if it wasn't so loud. Food was fantastic. I had the owners special pepperoni pizza and it was amazing. The wife had the rigatoni with vodka sauce and it was very good. But, the best thing on the menu was their garlic bread! You have to order it! I wanted to order the tiramisu but had no room. If you in the area and craving italian, it's worth it to try this place.

Is now about the food. In historic Nye Beach. Lack of parking but it's due to the area, not the restaurants fault at all.

We really enjoy the homemade pasta at this restaurant. If you feel like trying something new, their carbonara is made with a pumpkin based sauce, and it's delicious! The meatballs are great too.The service was excellent as well.

An excoriating disappointment… It was a low season weeknight, at 7:30 pm. In the restaurant there were only 2 tables taken; including our party of 5, there were in total 12 people sitting there, 6 of whom already eating when we arrived. And yet, we waited 50 minutes for our order: 3 pizzas, 1 salad, 1 pasta. My grandma had a restaurant: I know exactly how long it takes to deliver this kind of food; and it is NOT 50 minutes. Besides that, the food was absolutely unacceptable. Pizza was a nightmare. It was not cooked: it had been dried (thus explaining, possibly, the excess of waiting time), thus making it hard-as-stone, and… hard to eat. Furthermore, although advertised everywhere, there was NO extra virgin olive oil on top of the pizza… making it even drier, and tasteless. Spaghetti & meatballs was even worse: too much garlic, too less olive oil, too much of something that we couldn’t really figure out. We had tasted many American spaghetti before, and many, many Italian ones: the spaghetti we had at Sorella cannot be filed under neither category, they are just bad spaghetti. I had never seen my fiancé leaving food in his plate before; but that was impossible to eat. We saw people from other tables leaving in the plate other “specialties”. A final touch of absolute disgust: we saw them refusing to take in a couple, coming in at 8pm, when on their own door there is a gigantic writing that says 3-9pm, because “tonight we are closing sooner”. And there is no other restaurant in town available, this time of the year. Chapeau!

The food was all really good and the service was friendly. I appreciate that they have gluten-free options and I expect an up charge. $7 for gluten-free crust seems like a little much, even if they are making the dough themselves. Thats said, we had a good meal and experience.

Read a recent review that demolished this restaurant. Thankfully a few things stuck out to me as strange so we decided to risk it and try this place. So happy we did, we got the bread and oil as well as the arrancini. I understand being disappointed by the bread with oil and vinegar, this is more of a play or an inspiration from. You’re served homemade focaccia with a sun dried tomato oil/dip. It’s good, but I’d agree, it’s semi falsely described on the menu, however, still was good.We also got two pasta entrees, noodles were cooked al dente, which is not for everyone. Spaghetti and meatballs were great, saucy and the meatballs were well seasoned with saltiness and herbs. The orecchiette was also delicious, well seasoned with good heat.Lastly we finished it with cannolis and tiramisu.Overall, it was great. Over priced, absolutely, but to be expected in a tourist coastal town. I would say to check it out. It’s not the best food in the world but it’s pretty good for sure.

So first off, we went there with two kids and two adults. First time there. Ordered the garlic bread, spaghetti and meatballs, and arancini. Alfredo for one kid, spaghetti and meatballs for the other and a Cesar salad and focaccia bread. Ten dollars for one slice of cheesy garlic toast is ridiculous. The dipping sauce tastes straight out of the jar. The focaccia was dryer than my dad jokes, and the balsamic and olive oil dip was abysmal. To top it off, the spaghetti noodles were undercooked, the meatballs had mint (why?!?), and enough spice in them to sear the flavor into my tastebuds for longer than I care to think on. In addition to only having three meatballs per serving, they were dry as the Sahara desert and the sauce barely covered the top. The arancini was over cooked, and the sauce it came with was burnt to hell. The Cesar salad tastes like a store bought salad thrown together in the back. The best dish by far was the Alfredo, and I mean that’s kind of hard to screw up so thank god for that. $110 for the meal that should’ve been $40 worth of food is astounding. The amount of spaghetti and meatballs was far less than it should’ve been for the price. When a restaurant says they make everything fresh, I would expect a much higher quality, as well as a considerable amount more of food and sauces. Truly a place to be avoided if you have tastebuds and enjoy food in any way, shape, or form.

Went in to celebrate with family . Food was flavorless , if not to go as far as to say retched and far from fresh . Price was outrageous for portions . Will tell friends and family not to waste there time , money or upset stomachs on this lack luster food if you want to call it that .

I had such an enjoyable experience I had to share. As an east coaster I often miss good Italian food, deserts, and pizza. I was blown away with my stone fruit and stratchietella anti pasti, my fun pizza with fun gourmet toppings and I took the cannolis to go. Well I almost fell over when I got home and had one. I don’t know that it’s a very traditional recipe but it takes all the right flavors and textures to another level with a lightness that delighted me. We quite literally went to this place by mistake and I’m coming back next week. Great service as well, our server was nice and helpful. It took quite awhile for our entrees in spite of the dining room being almost empty and it being quite early.

Happened upon this restaurant while staying nearby. Didn’t expect anything much from unassuming exterior but holy cannoli it was incredible. A short wait to get seated as they were busy on a Thursday but nothing crazy. Food came quickly and with excellent service. Even the “kids” items were excellent. Would 100% come back if in the area again.

Walked to this restaurant because it was close to a hotel we are staying at. The staff was super friendly and it had a nice atmosphere. The cocktails were a little on the expensive side but seemed like a great selection. We went on Thursday witch is pint and pizza night so we tried some local brews that were great. We ordered the Arancini balls witch were very good then got a pizza and lasagna for a main. The lasagna was super rich and flavorful, the pizza was amazing. Would definitely recommend checking out this place if you are in the area!

The lightly seared ahi tuna with tonnato sauce (tuna, capers and plain mayo) was absolutely delicious. The stone fruit (peach and cherry) with stracciatella (very soft creamy insides of burrata) salted pistacchi and a drizzle of balsamic was also fabulous. My wife suffers bad headaches from garlic and we asked to avoid garlic which they did scrupulously. The stonefruit usually comes with a buttermilk, chive and garlic dressing, which they put on the side for us. I tried it and the garlic was beautifully light, but the chives and buttermilk honestly would not have gone well with the fruit. We had cannoli for dessert. It was very nice but not at all traditional. The shell was baked rather than fried and the filling was sweetened whipped cream flavoured with almond, all drizzled with a cocoa sauce. Nice, but nothing like a traditional cannolo filling of riccotta and sugar with candied peel and chocolate chips.. the wai5staff were wonderful, the decor is simple and timeless. The music was kept low enogh to allow easy talking and was pleasantly mellow. We plan to go again to try their pizza!

CHECK YOUR RECEIPT. We were here recently and noticed we were overcharged after leaving the restaurant. It wasn't a big amount, but I did call to ask for an adjustment. After some discussion about who was responsible for the overcharged, the person agreed to refund the disputed amount. I never had the revised bill come through. Additionally, our waitress was not very friendly and the restaurant has the automatic 30%25%20% tip suggestion (though you can do a custom tip , but I don't like the feeling of being forced into a tip amount) and I frankly didn't feel good about that, especially given her frosty attitude. The food was good, I will say that. They just need better customer skills.

We were in there on a Monday and it was busy. Great service and food. They don’t do reservations but that worked for our party of 7. We had cheese bread, different pastas and pizza’s. Oh and don’t forget the desserts they’re very tasty. I only got a photo of the cheese pizza as everyone started eating so quickly. Highly recommend them for your dinner plans.

It was the vibe that lured us in. The host was friendly and we were seated right away. That was about the best of it. I ordered a fancy, expensive margarita and did not care for whatever tasted stale in my drink (maybe it was the salt). My husband liked his drink, though. Our waitress was somewhat friendly, but uninterested, and our entrees did not taste good to us. Something about the tomato sauce just didn’t sit right on our palates. The place was packed, though, so maybe it was just us.

Words can't describe how EXQUISITE this experience was here. The service was perfect, not overly pushy, but also made sure we were taken care of. The interior was clean and well decorated, open but not empty, but most of all, this was the best handmade Italian food I've ever had. Hard to believe this gem of a restaurant is almost hidden. Our server, Sean, was great. Friendly, funny and knowledgeable. We the bolognese and paglia e fieno. Both delicious. The fieno pasta was a little clumped together so it took mild effort to pull it into better portions. The gelato was creamy. We got orange olive oil, mild creamsicle-like flavor and we could taste the fresh zest; salted caramel rum; strawberry sorbet was perfectly tart from the meyer lemons they used and would be a great choice for a dessert cocktail with tequila.

Tasty food, quick/good service! Just be aware that they have a rotating menu, for example I went there expecting to be able to get a chicken parmesan but they no longer had that or what Google said was their three top dishes. Was still tasty though, just have to be aware of the possibility.

When you need a break from some of the top seafood spots in town, this Italian gem is a must. Our meal took some time to prepare and when we got it it was obvious. Pasta cooked perfectly, sauce with a hint of spice. I would eat here weekly if I lived at the beach. I ordered the CASARECCE ALLA BOLOGNESE, a cork screw pasta in a meat ragu. It was incredible and I highly recommend it. The garlic cheese bread was focaccia I think, a little different but I could have eaten two orders. You should give them a try

This place was recommended by some locals and we found it charming. Servers were prompt with our orders and kept our drinks up. The food was deliscious. Veal Parmesan on angel hair pasta was awesome! And they make a good Old Fashioned 🙂
I was craving clams with linguini and saw Tagliatelle Alle Vongole on their menu. This Italian restaurant is also one block from The Inn at Nye Beach , so we came here for dinner. It was quite hot inside. I actually wanted the Veal Parmesan also, but we saw how big the portion was at the next table and got turned off. We ordered a light meal instead: Tagliatelle with Manila clams cooked in white wine and percorino cream without garlic, Focaccia without garlic butter, and a side of meatballs & marinara. The pasta was stuck together, the red chile flakes helped. The meat ball was good except the tomato sauce created a problem with too much acid in the stomach. Overall, we enjoyed the food better than fish and chips at the local pub.

Food was great but I cannot give it five stars. Service was fine, our waitress was nice enough but pretty dull to be completely honest. Atmosphere was fine, was expecting a little bit more fine dining experience but my 4 star review still reflects this restaurant as above par. We traveled from depoe Bay and would honestly still say it was worth the drive. I ordered the lasagna which I found to be moist and very cheesy, lots of meat and the right amount of marinara. My wife had the pasta with Manila clams and that also was pretty decent.

Very authentic Italian hand tossed pizza. They did have a gluten-free option but they said they don't have that on hand all the time. So it is the luck of the draw for that. Very friendly staff an no waiting! Worth checking out, just don't expect American style pizza. This pizza is very dry with very little sauce.

This was our first time at Sorella's, recommended by some friends. Our waitress Megan was great with just the right attentiveness. The food was delicious and the portions of baked rigatoni and lasagna were ample. Our only reason for not giving 5 stars, the entrees are stand alone. Single serving salads are not available and a simple slice of bread would have been appreciated.
