Our server, Sean, was great. Friendly, funny and knowledgeable.We the bolognese and paglia e fieno. Both delicious. The fieno pasta was a little clumped together so it took mild effort to pull it into better portions.The gelato was creamy. We got orange olive oil, mild creamsicle-like flavor and we could taste the fresh zest; salted caramel rum; strawberry sorbet was perfectly tart from the meyer lemons they used and would be a great choice for a dessert cocktail with tequila.

Tasty food, quick/good service! Just be aware that they have a rotating menu, for example I went there expecting to be able to get a chicken parmesan but they no longer had that or what Google said was their three top dishes. Was still tasty though, just have to be aware of the possibility.

We were refreshed to receive prompt, attentive service - that’s hard to come by on the coast! Nice limited menu but tough to choose what you want because it all sounds so good. Homemade pastas - delicious. We couldn’t get enough of their homemade gelato too! I recommend Sorella for a fun night out or when you are craving carbs! (:

You normally don't go wrong with Italian food and that is the case with Sorella. Excellent Cesar salad done the right way, great tasting pasta. Interesting options. Service was very good, the restaurant is lively and pleasant.

When you need a break from some of the top seafood spots in town, this Italian gem is a must. Our meal took some time to prepare and when we got it it was obvious. Pasta cooked perfectly, sauce with a hint of spice. I would eat here weekly if I lived at the beach. I ordered the CASARECCE ALLA BOLOGNESE, a cork screw pasta in a meat ragu. It was incredible and I highly recommend it. The garlic cheese bread was focaccia I think, a little different but I could have eaten two orders. You should give them a try

This place was recommended by some locals and we found it charming. Servers were prompt with our orders and kept our drinks up. The food was deliscious. Veal Parmesan on angel hair pasta was awesome! And they make a good Old Fashioned 🙂

I was craving clams with linguini and saw Tagliatelle Alle Vongole on their menu. This Italian restaurant is also one block from The Inn at Nye Beach , so we came here for dinner. It was quite hot inside. I actually wanted the Veal Parmesan also, but we saw how big the portion was at the next table and got turned off. We ordered a light meal instead: Tagliatelle with Manila clams cooked in white wine and percorino cream without garlic, Focaccia without garlic butter, and a side of meatballs & marinara. The pasta was stuck together, the red chile flakes helped. The meat ball was good except the tomato sauce created a problem with too much acid in the stomach. Overall, we enjoyed the food better than fish and chips at the local pub.

We loved this traditional Italian restaurant! Bianca pizza, Pepperoni pizza, Capricciosa pizza and Rigatoni... All with an exceptional flavor! To drink: Ace Cider semi sweet and Good Life Brewing Sweet As! Pacific Ale... Two flavors you have to enjoy! Also, good repertoire of local and Italian wines! Highly recommend...

Food was great but I cannot give it five stars. Service was fine, our waitress was nice enough but pretty dull to be completely honest. Atmosphere was fine, was expecting a little bit more fine dining experience but my 4 star review still reflects this restaurant as above par. We traveled from depoe Bay and would honestly still say it was worth the drive. I ordered the lasagna which I found to be moist and very cheesy, lots of meat and the right amount of marinara. My wife had the pasta with Manila clams and that also was pretty decent.

Very authentic Italian hand tossed pizza. They did have a gluten-free option but they said they don't have that on hand all the time. So it is the luck of the draw for that. Very friendly staff an no waiting! Worth checking out, just don't expect American style pizza. This pizza is very dry with very little sauce.

Best Italian I’ve ever had!!! My wife had the Chicken Parmesan and I had the Baked Rigatoni!! The Caesar’s Salad was super authentic and homemade! We took a pizza back for later and yet another home-run! Everything is a la carte so you pay a bit more than some places but WELL worth it!!! Enjoy when you get there. Great service as well. Todd was are guy there and he went above and beyond! So happy we chose this place!!!!

This was our first time at Sorella's, recommended by some friends. Our waitress Megan was great with just the right attentiveness.The food was delicious and the portions of baked rigatoni and lasagna were ample. Our only reason for not giving 5 stars, the entrees are stand alone. Single serving salads are not available and a simple slice of bread would have been appreciated.

From @simplyrecipes 30 green English walnuts, early enough in the season so that they are easily cut with a knife 2 cinnamon sticks 5 whole cloves 1 (1-inch) piece vanilla bean Zest 1 lemon, cut into strips using a vegetable peeler 2 1/2 cups granulated sugar 1 liter vodka Prepare the green walnuts Rinse and pat dry the walnuts. Cut them into quarters with a sharp chef's knife or cleaver. Be careful as you are cutting them; if you've waited too late in the season to pick them, their shells may have begun to harden and cutting through them may be a little dicey. Watch your fingers. Add the ingredients to a container Put the walnuts, spices, zest, sugar, and vodka into a large glass container. The vodka should cover the walnuts. Cover and shake to mix well. Store for 6 weeks, shaking daily As the days go by you will notice that the color of the nocino gets darker and darker. Bottle the nocino: When you are ready to bottle, remove the walnuts and solids with a slotted metal spoon. (Be CAREFUL where you do this as the walnuts and the nocino will stain.) Strain the liquid through several layers of cheesecloth into glass bottles. (I've seen recipes that call for straining the liquid through coffee filters which I think would work fine too.) Cork tightly. According to David, nocino will last for several years if stored in a cool, dry place. The nocino will initially be rather bitter, but it will mellow over time. It's best at least a year after it was first bottled. Prego!

@culinaryinstituteofamerica alumnus Chef Justin Wills prepares Spaghetti & Meatballs Spaghetti tossed in marinara sauce served with our pork, beef, and veal meatballs We start with our marinara, which is a very simple marinara San Marzano tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, fresh basil. dried basil, dried oregano, a little bit of crushed red chili, salt and black pepper. We let that simmer for about four to six hours depending on the size of batch that we’re making. Our meatballs consists of, ground pork, ground beef, ground veal, all of which we grind in-house. We also add a little bit of pork belly that’s also ground in-house. We mix up the meats with toasted bread crumbs, Pecorino Romano cheese, eggs, a lot of fresh basil, dried basil, and dried oregano. With this we form our meatballs. We roast the meatballs, then braise them in the marinara to make them nice and tender. To order, we drop our fresh spaghetti in heavily salted water Heat up the marinara and meatballs in a pan, then toss the pasta in the sauce, as opposed to just pouring the marinara on top, as we like to have our pastas coated with just enough sauce. We plate and finish with Pecorino Romano cheese. Prego!

Ingredients: 2oz @BACARDI.Global Rum 1oz Lime Juice .5oz Simple Syrup 4-5 Basil Leaves Topped with Soda Water Garnish: Basil Leaf and Lime Wedge Method: In a Collins glass add 3 medium sized basil leaves torn into smaller pieces. Add a small amount of ice and muddle. Use shaker tin for muddling if you feel more comfortable not muddling in a glass. Add lime juice, simple syrup, and rum. Top with ice and soda water. Garnish with a basil leaf and lime wedge.
